Our View of Meditation and Mindfulness:

Meditation has been around for a very long time, so there must be something to it. It can,
however, be quite confusing because of all of the definitions and varieties of meditation that seem to be out there. Our approach is to view meditation as a set of practices that can help to improve focus, to calm the mind, and ultimately to generate wisdom.

Meditation and Mindfulness training at Sadar Psychological is…

…Individualized.

We look to find an approach to meditation that will fit each individual client who is seeking a meditation experience. Mindfulness is simply one form of meditation that has as an advantage the ability to practice it in almost any situation. There are, however, many different forms that can be used separately, or in conjunction with one another, depending on the mental/emotional status of the practitioner.

…Well established.

Dr. Mitchell Sadar has been using meditative practices as a part of his therapeutic work with clients since the 1980’s. As part of the evaluation you will receive, we will make recommendations for how meditation can facilitate improvements and changes you seek.
