Intermediate EEG Biofeedback Skills Workshop

***We have applied for 12 continuing education credits for this training through the PA State Board of Psychology and through the PA Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. Cost of CE credits will be $100 if/when we are granted them.

Course Objectives:
By the completion of this training participants will be able to :
- Describe at least four clinical issues that can be seen in variations of a client’s EEG brainwaves.
- Apply at least three additional neuro- biofeedback protocols to clients to assist in better and healthier brain regulation.
- Explain at least three benefits of Heart Tate Variability Training and as well which types of clients will benefit the most.
- Model at least four techniques that can be used to teach clients how to effectively control their heart rate for anxiety and agitation reduction and control.
Course Description:
Would you like to enhance your neurofeedback skills? Are there gaps in your understanding? Or perhaps you are just looking to build upon your foundation. Sadar Psychological will be offering an intermediate course for individuals who are training clients and would like to advance their skills.
This training is designed to take you beyond the basics and advance your knowledge of the EEG. It will also assist you in fine-tuning your skills, enabling you to bring about more positive change in your clients.
Mike Cohen will lead the course in examining various protocol strategies and to explore exciting new trends in neurofeedback. This will include Multi-Channel Coherence Training, Z score Training, and more qEEG Based Training. Even though EEG Spectrum’s EEGer system will be our primary teaching tool, most of the principles that are taught will apply to all neurofeedback systems. This is an opportunity to refine your skills and advance yourself as a practitioner, while learning from one of the top teachers in the field.
Angelika Sadar will bring another dimension to the course by reviewing the benefits of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) training, and explore various techniques by which to teach clients this invaluable skill.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
If Instructors cancel the training, full refunds will be awarded to the registrants. Cancellations received 10 days prior to the training will be refunded less a $10.00 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 10 days from the training.
