What is WTT Corporate?
What is a World TeamTennis Corporate League?
The league is corporate co-ed tennis promoting goodwill among corporations and competitive fun for area tennis players. The weekly matches consist of 6 sets (6 game pro-set) of TeamTennis doubles (1 set of men's and women's doubles, 1 set of men's and women's singles, and 2 sets of mixed doubles).
What is a WTT team?
A team must have 2 men and 2 women, as a minimum (10 players maximum). We suggest having 3 men and 3 women, and utilizing the provided sub list as necessary. This allows for periods of rest and missing matches. Total games won from all sets determine the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match.
Corporate League Rules:
At least 50% of your team has to be employees.
Players must compete in at least 2 matches to be eligible to advance with their team.
Team must have at least two employees present to play at each match.
Divisions are based on the team average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women.
Players must be 18 or over to play in the league.
Captain's Responsibilities:
1. To obtain Team Players
2. To have team players register online.
3. To pay the team fee.
4. Record match results online
5. Email the team players about upcoming matches and verify who is coming to the match.
6. Obtain subs, if needed.
7. Determine the line-up for each match.
Determinine Your Team's Rating
The average NTRP Rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.
Team Example
Men: Joe – 4.5, Tom – 4.5, Bill 4.0, Jim – 3.5
Women: Mary – 3.5, Jill – 3.5, Gail – 3.5, Joan – 3.0
The two best men and two best women are: 4.5 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 16. 16 divided by 4 = 4.0.
Therefore, this team could register for the 4.0 division or higher.
Why register via the Internet?
You are not an official league participant until you have registered online. When you register via the Internet site you will be e-mailed league information during the season and your WTT Member Benefits (WTT Point of Contact Newsletter, discounts on hotel, rental cars, 2 for 1 tickets, plus more).
When does our season begin and end?
Play begins September 26 and ends April 2009 (actual date depends on the weather).

When are the matches?
Matches will be played on Fridays from 8-9:30pm.
Where do we play WTT?
Matches will be played at Frog Hollow Racquet Club in Worcester, PA. 610-584-5502

What is the cost?
$18/player/week. Check with your company to see if they will cover the cost!
